Suja is an all around amazing Mustang that is now living with Deputy Hart. Suja is such a steady, reliable horse that he has been ridden by almost every rider on the team as well as being Sheriff Balaam's favorite steed.
Deputy Allen Lum's horse, Maximus who is the largest of all of the MHU horses standing well over 18 hands high. Maximus is one of the leaders of this unit, he has a very impressive mustache and a heart of gold.
Deputy Craig Turner's horse Olaf is a 1500 pound gelding who is a rescued PMU horse. He is one of the leaders of this unit.
Detective Toddi Fitzmier's horse, Lacey is a lovely mare with a fancy flare! She can compete with the boys every day of the week!
Deputy Heather Hart's horse, Tango is a gorgeous, steady boy and he is always hungry!
Jolene is 4 1/2 years old born April 17 2020 She is a quarter horse and she stands 15.2 hands. Deputy Siminoe adopted Joey when she was 8 months old and did all her training herself. She is a force to be recon with when at work, but she is soft and gentle with children. She is highly snack driven, will do anything for a cookie or watermelon!
Deputy Deputy Hughes' horse Chief is13 years old He is15 hands and he likes all food so much that you have to give him treats in a bucket rather than by hand because he gets too excited and pushy. Chief loves to swim and will beeline for any body of water when the weather is warm.
Fresno is registered AQHA chestnut gelding. Fresno foaled 04-18-08. He is currently 15 years old and stands 15.1 hands. Deputy Barnes has owned Fresno for 9 years. Deputy Barnes team ropes off Fresno (header) in local jackpot ropings. He also uses Fresno to pack gear and meat harvested while big game hunting in the back country.
Deputy Ross Taylor's horse Goliath is an incredibly massive gelding who loves the water, carrots, hugs and peppermint horse treats.
Gemma is 5 years old and stands approximately 15.2 hands.
